Certain sports people seem to be able to turn their hand to just about any other sport.
We've had the former Ballon d'Or winning footballer Michael Owen put in a decent shift as a jockey, five-time All-Ireland football winner Michael Darragh McAuley join the likes of Kieran Donaghy and Aidan O'Shea playing basketball, and, of course, World Champion boxer Katie Taylor used to play soccer for Ireland.
All one really has to do is look at the ease with which Con O'Callaghan switches between hurling and Gaelic football to get some sense of how straight-forward it seems to excel at more than just one sport.
Although we have at times seen the odd Irish rugby player with a hurl in his hands, footage from inside the Leinster camp has now revealed that the skills set of a few players stretches beyond the oval ball.
Taken from Rob Kearney's instagram account, 9 Leinster players have set up what has by now become a rite of passage for any team wishing to demonstrate their footballing "tekkers."
Featuring the likes of Johnny Sexton, Robbie Henshaw and Kearney himself, you'd wonder how many takes this took.
With a bin placed at one end of a narrow dressing-room passage, the rugby players indulge a bit of head tennis over an back, up and down the line, before it is finished in off the rim of the bin.
Needless to say, they were pleased.
