Leinster got off to a cracking start away to Castres as a Johnny Sexton penalty was followed by an opportunist try from Robbie Henshaw to give the visitors a 10-0 lead after just 12 minutes.
While Castres soon woke from their slumber and were back in the game after the crafty Dupont seized an opportunity to respond just 10 minutes later, Leinster's response to that response was very nearly instantaneous.
After two quick phases from the restart, Rory O’Loughlin chased what looked to be a lost cause into the corner and came agonisingly close to touching down, but in came a Castres defender with a last-ditch slide tackle out of nowhere that somehow knocked the ball dead.
Wait for the alternate angle.
Remarkable. Laurent Koscielny would have been proud of that.
Unfortunately, just before that incident took place Johnny Sexton limped off with what is apparently a tight calf, something no Irish rugby fan will have wanted to see just two weeks before the Six Nations kicks off. Hopefully it's not too serious.
