New Zealand have brought an absurd level of intensity to Dublin this evening, and nobody will feel that more than Robbie Henshaw. The Leinster centre was absolutely nailed by Sam Cane with what looked like a high tackle in the tenth minute, with Henshaw left panned out following a sickening clash of heads.
Henshaw had to leave the field, but he did raise an arm to the crowd to alleviate any serious concerns.
Cane did not go to the bin; the referee, under advice from the TMO, awarded a penalty to Ireland and nothing more.
Here's the incident:
Joe Schmidt was NOT impressed.
In an absurdly physical game, Cane has since gone off injured.
