Irish and English rugby fans don't agree on much. Both sectors of supporters have their own rituals, their own heroes, their own terrace anthems. Put English and Irish fans together in a small room on match day and they're bound to agree on only one thing: nothing complements a Six Nations game like a cold pint.
To celebrate the launch of the Heineken Rugby Club, which brings rugby fans together, Heineken decided to park the rivalries and get Irish and English fans to work together for a pint.
Fans from both countries were invited to a Heineken event in a local Dublin watering hole to watch the recent England v Ireland Six Nations game. Heineken decided this would be an ideal time to cut the taps and with the help of rugby legends Denis Leamy and Mike Catt set up a hoax to put both sets of supporters to the test.

A shame the result didn't go Ireland's way but revenge will be sweet next year at the Aviva.
