The Ireland U20s secured their first win of the 2016 U20 Six Nations with a fantastic comeback win against England in Newcastle.
Once again all the talk after the game will focus on the ridiculously impressive James Ryan, who led from the front and sparked the momentum shift with a try to pull Ireland back into the game and then a wonderful offload to see his team take the lead.
At half time the score was 20-6, but Ireland captain James Ryan barrelled over from close range to give Ireland a chance, and soon Ireland were right back in the contest through Matthew Byrne following a lovely flowing move:
When the lead did change, it was again largely thanks to Ryan, as the offload we mentioned earler allowed Andrew Porter to charge over:
England were reduced to 14 men, and a final penalty meant that the score finished 20-26. A fantastic comeback, a wonderful second-half performance, and a display from the captain that further justified the hype growing around him.
