Long before Tana Umaga and Keven Mealamu came on the scene, Brian O'Driscoll was already a marked man. There's a significant section of society who would suggest that while a Lions tour gets all the coverage, the real peak of your career is the Leinster Senior Cup.
In that regard, all we can say is bravo to St. Michael's hero David Cassidy who lined up some puny scrum-half by the name of Brian O'Driscoll and made sure he remembers the day Blackrock went up against Michael's and nearly lost. They didn't, in fact they went on to win the Senior Cup that year but at least Cassidy can choose to never shut up about the time he flattened Brian O'Driscoll.
2FM DJ Declan Pierce was on the St. Michael's team that day and, thankfully for the rest if us, he decided to remind O'Driscoll of the tackle.
@DecPierce @stmcrugby how could I forget getting my wings! Leo holding his own player back added a laugh to a memory I'd rather forget!

Keep an eye on a young Leo Cullen directing the play from number eight. Not even his teammates could escape his clutches.
