If you were to write down all of the things you could ever want from a memorable France-Argentina rugby match, you'd include the following things: swashbuckling back play, improbable drop goals, dodgy refeeering, lunatic reactions from coaches, frustrating indiscipline, big-arsed forwards and last-ditch penalty kicks from distance. France v Argentina had all of that this morning, and it indeed it had more.
It had a huge brawl at the final whistle.
As you can see from the photo above from Sportsfile, sub Louis Picamoles was at the heart of the brawl. Picamoles was at the heart of everything once he was subbed in, but he should have been reffed for an offsides following a critical intercept.
