To a very small but privileged audience, Brian Mujati is more than the former Springbok's rugby player who recently retired after a prolonged career with Ospreys, Northampton, Sale and Racing. For quite some time now, Mujati is a YouTuber and exceedingly brilliant at it.
Mujati has a gift for storytelling that produces engaging and provocative videos. He documents elements of his life on his a YouTube channel where he regularly discusses his career, struggles with injury, existentialism, parenthood and reviews beer in a uniquely candid fashion.
Unfortunately, Mujati recently deleted the vast majority of his videos, thus denying any opportunity of reliving previous exceptional episodes. However, on Saturday he published a new video, in which the South African is stopped and searched when his tripod is mistaken for a gun.
There is something constantly engaging and entertaining about Mujati's creative output that makes for excellent consumption. Whether it be his podcast with former Irish and Munster rugby player James Downey, or his deviant Vlogs. You can check out his channel here.
