These are testing times for England head coach Eddie Jones, who is under fire for a host of big decisions. The England squad for the Autumn internationals was announced this week and there were several notable omissions including Danny Cipriani, Don Armand and Alex Goode.
It comes amidst a testy few months. Bath owner Bruce Craig was scathing in his criticism of Jones' training methods while former English international Stuart Barnes called for him to be sacked. They face the daunting prospect of games against South Africa and New Zealand next month needing results to lighten the mood.
Jones was at the Ricoh Arena today for Wasps versus Bath, and the gathered fans were not shy in letting him know of their discontent.

The reception provoked quite the reaction.
📺The big screen shows Nathan Hughes and the crowd cheers...
The big screen shows Eddie Jones and the crowd jeers...

People might not agree with Eddie Jones’s style or approach but to boo him today at the Ricoh is pathetic.

It would seem wasps fans are not fans of Eddie Jones 😆 #EddieOut

The cameraman/producer at the Bath v Wasps game deserves a raise for that sequence switching between Hughes and Eddie Jones. Comedic gold. #WASvBAT

Jones, to his credit, responded positively and applauded the gathered fans. However, the real test lies ahead as he tries to steady the ship with a World Cup looming on the horizon.
