The arrival of Tadhg Beirne is a keenly awaited one within Munster as fans became enamoured with his athletic ability and exceptional performances for Scarlets this season. Just recently he was signaled out by former Scarlets player and Sky pundit Scott Quinnell who thanked him for leaving the jersey in a better place than when he got it.
Today Beirne guaranteed he would have at least one more home game in Wales, as his side stormed to a 33-8 victory over the Dragons and a home quarter-final. It came thanks to two Beirne tries. While it is thought Beirne was signed by Munster to cover the second-row, he has demonstrated this year his ability as a flanker today playing at six and excelling.

The second was a superb effort, as Beirne stole the Dragons line-out before demonstrating outstanding pace to touch down under the posts.
? What a player @longdogbeirne is! First the lineout steal, then comes the power?

Beirne has spent some time with the Irish squad already with his versatility seen as a huge asset. Still only 26, his future with club and country looks bright.
