Hmm, it hasn't been pretty so far at the UCD Bowl.
Despite struggling to secure victories over Australia and Japan in their first two games - two teams that France beat by a combined 106 points - hopes were still high that the Irish team could find their form in time for their virtual quarter-final against France tonight in the Women's Rugby World Cup.
After all, Ireland did beat France in the Six Nations earlier this year, and have always been focused on this game.
It hasn't started well though. France dominated the early stages, and by the 14th minutes, Ireland were 14 points down.

After the second try, Ireland settled and forced the game a little with good possession and territory, but unfortunately, the French attack proved too strong again in the 29th minute, adding a third try and putting the game out of sight.
