"Tá siad ag imirt an rugbaí is fear san Eoraip!"
In case you've been out on the tear, Connacht annihilated Munster at the Sportsground on Saturday evening, scoring four tries en route to a 35-14 thrashing - and one which will live long in the memory out west.
After a quick start, Munster were simply choked out of the game, failing to register a score from the 26th minute onwards. Amidst a blood-curdling atmosphere, fans at the Sportsground belted out The Fields of Athenry - presumably rubbing in the misery to travelling supporters in red who have adopted the anthem over the years.
In all seriousness, the entire game was somewhat reminiscent of one of those famous Thomond Park nights of old, only this time Munster were on the receiving end of the 'unstoppable force' treatment. A good five minutes had passed since full-time when Pat Lamb's side were still on the pitch, congratulating each other and the crowd for the part they doubtless played in a monumental occasion for the province.
As they approached the seated stand on the far side of the pitch, one could forgive the players for seeming humbled by the monstrous reception they received. At one point, Ultan Dillane seemed to mouth the word "unbelievable." It had all the hallmarks of a milestone occasion - the day Connacht officially joined the big boys - even if the truth is that they've been sat alongside them, and above them, all season.
Penny, too, for Robbie Henshaw's thoughts as he watched the spine-tingling scenes unfold around him. But if there were any questions as to when The West was planning to awaken, its rugby team and supporters answered in no uncertain terms on Saturday night.
