Irish referee JP Doyle has been praised for remarkable creativity during the Twickenham derby between Leicester Tigers and Northampton today.
Northampton landed the first try of the game, but they couldn't have done it without match day official JP Doyle's help. As English back row Jamie Gibson drove towards the line, he was swarmed by a host of Leicester defenders. However, Doyle dived into the ruck head first and spotted the ball touched down. He awarded the try, which would not have been possible without his intervention as the camera did not seem to capture it.
JP Doyle that is QUALITY ??
