Ulster emerged with a win from a highly entertaining match with Connacht in a very close game despite Pat Lam's men having to defend the final parts of the match with 13 men.

The final score was 18-13, and Ulster's try that came four minutes into the second half would prove to be their last score, and it came about thanks to a wonderful offload from fullback Jared Payne.
After stealing a Connacht lineout, some great work from the Ulster pack brought them inside the opponent's 22 where Payne provided a try on a plate for Craig Gilroy:
