Earlier this evening the Twitter account of Super 15 team, New South Wales Waratahs, sent out a very simple tweet. It was one containing a link to a Fox Sports article about Matt Ballin, a hooker with NRL team Manly. Along with the link the tweet contained one word, "cunt".
It's a concise and direct message and also one that will surely get someone in a bit of bother.
The Waratahs are sponsored by HSBC, the same bank which sponsors the Lions, whom also got themselves into a social media mess with some tweets in recent weeks.
Update: The Waratahs say their Twitter account was hacked and have apologised for the tweet.
