It was another brilliant weekend of rugby. Maybe there wasn't the emotional highs of Soldier Field last weekend but there were a lot of positives for a young Irish team at the Aviva. Elsewhere, England easily dispatched of South Africa and Scotland and Australia played out a pulsating match at Murrayfield. Munster vs the Maori All Blacks wasn't so bad either.
Here are four of the best plays of the weekend. Vote for your favourite below.
#1 - Tiernan O'Halloran's first try vs Canada
This try was straight out of Connacht. With Canada proving to be surprisingly difficult opposition, Tiernan O'Halloran scored a sumptuous try built largely off an exquisite offload by soft-handed prop Finlay Bealham
#2 - Darren Sweetnam try
Darren Sweetnam was a Cork hurler before he switched codes and took on rugby. This try in very slippery conditions against the Maori All Blacks Friday night proved he can play football as well.
TRY Munster!
Munster 17-14 Maori AB! What a sensational try from Darren Sweetnam! #HistoryInTheMaking #MUNvMAB https://t.co/CJrMXBmOWk— eir Sport (@eirSport) November 11, 2016
#3 - George Ford try vs South Africa
Ireland aren't the only Northern Hemisphere side in brilliant form. England dispatched South Africa with relative ease at Twickers yesterday. The highlight was undoubtedly this George Ford try, built entirely off a filthy Ben Youngs dummy. Starts at 7.00.
