It was a tight affair as two heavy hitters went head to head in the first round of the Champions Cup matches. Eight points from the boot of Johnny Sexton put Racing Metro in the driving seat but it could have been so different had Northampton's George Pisi been able to hold on to the ball 25 minutes from the end.
Arms pumping, Pisi broke the line and was waltzing in for a certain try when he dropped the ball took another step and injured himself out of pure embarrassment (not a medical diagnosis, an unfortunately timed hamstring injury is also a possibility).
