The Maroons completed an eight consecutive State of Origin series win this morning with a 12-10 win over the Blues. The scoreline could have been even bigger if it were not for a streaker who entered the field in the 78th minute with the Maroons on the attack.
The streaker fell over just a few metres from the Blues posts while being chased by stewards and then the resultant pile of bodies caused one of the defending players to trip as he attempted to tackle an opposition player. The Maroons went over for a try but it was disallowed after the ref conferred with the TMO.
