The player who delivered the monster hit on Newcastle's Luke Yates is John Folau. Fans of the sport may know his older sibling Israel, who played four years of Rugby League before making the switch to Aussie Rules and more recently changing disciplines again to Rugby Union.
It appears that John has the potential to have a similarly successful career to his brother. At least judging by this footage, anyway. Poor Yates will be feeling this one for a while.
