Samoa and Fiji drew last night in the Pacific Tournament in Sacramento. Fiji and Samoa don't play boring games of rugby so naturally it was a massively high-scoring affair, ending 30-30.
During the course of the game, the US commentator got very excited by this hit by Samoa's Alex Tuilagi on Nayacalevu.
The announcer's considered opinion was that it was the best smash hit since the John Lennon and his bigger than Jesus quarter swept through the American mid-west in the 60s.
US commentator called this Alex Tuilagi effort "biggest hit in Sacramento since The Beatles came through in the 60s" pic.twitter.com/afgv1OFste
