Video: Gruesome Injury Suffered By Stormers Player Gio Aplon

As ever with something like this - we give you proper warning. This is a gruesome video and should not be watched by anyone who gets queasy about these things. Gio Aplon, the Stormers full back suffered this freakish and horrible injury during their game with the Queensland Reds. Aplon signed with Bernard Jackman's Grenoble earlier this month.

Thankfully Aplon tweeted after the game that he merely suffered a dislocation:
