George Hook was on TV3's Late Review on Tuesday night and the former RTÉ rugby analyst took particular umbrage to presenter Colette Fitzpatrick suggesting he enjoys courting controversy with many of his opinions.

Hook called it an 'outrageous accusation' and a line of questioning which was perpetuating a particular stereotype about him. That is, that he only expresses some opinions for the sake of a reaction.
He also summarised that he was basically being labelled a 'liar and a fake' and if such characterisation continued he would walk off the set just like SIPTU general secretary Jack O'Connor did on Tonight with Vincent Browne earlier this year.
