Scotland look to have pulled off a coup with Vern Cotter looking certain to become their next Head Coach. The Scotsman reported that Cotter will become Scotland Head Coach at the end of next season and Cotter has apparently confirmed it to French rugby bible Midi Olympique.

Clermont Auvergne refused to release Cotter early from his contract and the 51-year-old former Bay of Plenty Head Coach spoke of his desire to go one better in next year's Heineken Cup after Clermont's 25-9 defeat to Castres in the French Championship semi-final on saturday.
