It's all on the line on the final day of the Champions Cup pool stage, with one Irish side fighting for survival. Ulster face Sale in their final pool game, and we have all the info you need on the do-or-die game for the Ulstermen.

When is Ulster v Sale?

Ulster v Sale Sharks kicks off at 20:00 on Saturday January 21st at Kingspan Stadium in Belfast.

How to watch Ulster v Sale?

Ulster v Sale Sharks will be broadcast live on BT Sport. Coverage of the game will begin on BT Sport at 19:45 on Saturday.

Form guide

These two teams are on the verge of Champions Cup elimination, with Ulster having failed to win a game thus far in the pool stage. They have taken losing bonus points, but sit in 12th place in the pool with just three points, two behind Saturday's opponents.

When the teams met in England on the opening weekend of the pool stage, Sale racked up 39 points to no reply, on a dire day for the Ulstermen.

Ulster have improved since then, and were desperately unlucky not to take a win away from La Rochelle last weekend, with Joel Sclavi's 81st minute try sealing a 7-3 win for the French side.

Sale will progress if they win and either Montpellier or Clermont ahead lose, while a bonus point win, or a points difference swing would also see them through if they win and Munster lose to Toulouse. Ulster, on the other hand, can usurp only Clermont or Montpellier. They will progress with a win and a Clermont loss, or a bonus point win coupled with a Montpellier loss.

Team news

Ulster's team includes Ireland wing Jacob Stockdale but, fresh from being named in Andy Farrell's Six Nations squad, Rob Herring and Tom O'Toole have to be content with places on the bench.

Meanwhile, Sale's XV includes England centre Manu Tuilagi at 12.
