Scotland are no craic.
Japan won the hearts of the rugby watching public with their heroic win over South Africa on Saturday, but it was always going to be tough with their next group game just four days away. Scotland, fresh and eager having not yet played in the tournament, initially looked like the Scotland we know and love by only kicking penalties in the first-half and lead 12-7, but soon morphed into a hybrid of France/New Zealand and started firing offloads around the place while running in three tries in 20 minutes to kill the game.
And twitter wasn't happy about it.

I don't like rugby - but as usual, the World Cup of Anything draws me in. Today I'll be supporting the underdogs. Come on Scotland! #SCOvJPN

First Japanese attack and they're over for a try. Clean, crisp lineout followed by an excellent maul. Steve Borthwick, you old dog. #SCOvJPN

It's advantage #SCO at the interval thanks to captain Greig Laidlaw's accuracy with the boot #SCOvJPN #RWC2015 pic.twitter.com/JATGubjp25

Big holes in the Japan defence now and Scotland really clinical in picking them out. Another excellent score. #SCOvJPN

I had so much hope before the start of this game :( #SCOvJPN

They've done what South Africa didn't, and managed to keep playing their own game in face of Japanese threat #SCOvJPN

Second half points? It's almost as if one team has played only a few days ago.
— Andy McGeady (@andymcgeady) September 23, 2015
Definitely think the short turn around has had a huge influence on this game, needs to be looked at! Creates an unfair advantage. #SCOvJPN

That bonus point could be absolutely crucial in this group. #SCOvJPN

Heard too much from TMO Shaun Veldsman last week - not enough on this occasion. Crazy not to seek clarification on key incidents. #SCOvJPN

Feel bad for Japan, developing nations shouldn't be playing two games in five days, especially against top seeds. #RWC2015 #SCOvJPN

Scotland about to put 50 points on Japan. This result should be enough for @springbok_HM to fall on his sword. #SCOvJPN

Japan's earlier work was way better, they're too mainstream now

Poor Japan running out of steam. Five tries for Scotland in the second half - 12-7 at half-time, but 45-10 in the closing stages. #rwc2015

Think if #Japan had decent prep it may have been closer. 4 days is a killer. But still doing their nation proud. #RWC2015

Keep the heads up Japan, it's not over yet.
