If you're not watching USA vs. New Zealand then get yourselves over to Sky Sports 2 right now for some fantastic American rugby commentary courtesy of NBC. The game is being played at Soldier Field in Chicago and, as such, it's quite possibly the biggest game in US rugby history.
But enough about that, all we care about is the highly entertaining US commentary team. There was some early confusion over why the knowledgable folk on this side of the Atlantic were subjected to 'introduction to rugby'...
The American commentators are so annoying. I get its a new sport over there & they have to teach their public but why us @SkySportsRugby ?

But after that it was all very entertaining. Here's a quick teaser of what we're talking about.
Loving the US commentators having to explain the rules as they go along ???? #USAvNZL — ShaunNotSean (@shaun7r) November 1, 2014
Worth watching #USAvAllBlacks for the commentary alone #Hilarious

I need these commentators I'm my life more often! — Cian Healy (@ProperChurch) November 1, 2014
On the plus side ... The American commentary is still better than @SkySportsRugby commentary #USAvNZL

@PhilEganTodayFM 'both teams refusing to use special teams, incredible!' — Conor (@ConorLynch) November 1, 2014
US commentators having to explain all rugby terminology for viewers of US v NZ. Think they'll have to translate 'rogering' shortly.

According to the US commentators all New Zealand babies have a rugby ball in their crib #calloftheday #USAvAllBlacks 6-43
— All Blacks (@AllBlacks) November 1, 2014
And while it is all good fun, it must be said that it's great to see the game getting some high profile coverage in the US.
