Nutrition has become an integral part of any professional sporting team. Many Nutritionists will also tell you that it is a crucial part of preparation for any sporting match that you compete in.
The Tongan national rugby team choose to fuel themselves for their World Cup games by eating out in Nandos for ten days in a row prior to their match on Tuesday.
Some members of the team, which is based in Exeter for the tournament, chose to frequent the local Nandos at least once a day.
Exeter's Nandos Facebook page described the Tonga squad as a bunch of "hungry boys".
A representative from the chicken restaurant chain posted on their Facebook page wishing the team well saying:
They visited every day for the past 10 days, and feel like part of our family now. Good luck boys.
On the eve of the game against Namibia and on their final visit to the restaurant the team gave the staff a signed jersey.
The vast amount of chicken based food that they consumed obviously worked a treat with the Tongan team beating Namibia by a comfortable scoreline of 35-21 in yesterdays Pool C World Cup match.
As a unorthodox dietary regime, it isn't in the same league as the fabled Harry's Challenge, which was so instrumental in Ireland's 3-1 defeat at home to Austria in 1995.
Staying with rugby, Neil Francis recently detailed how, at the 1987 World Cup, many members of the Irish rugby team, avoided the desperate food on offer in the team hotel by stealing out late in the evening for some KFC.
