He was stuck on fast forward it seems in this clip, as he overtakes the entire Welsh fifteen with the grace of leopard chasing down a goat. Note how this was so close to the amateur era that players were still pointing the way to the try line but perhaps this says more about Gleeson than 2002.
The magical kick chase as the video is called surely brought with it an influx of interest from the Premier League, I mean if Quinton Fortune was getting a game at the time.. surely... hopefully Keith Gleeson bought him a return gift at the very least.
