Most Irish rugby fans are probably disappointed that Dan Lydiate got the nod ahead of Sean O'Brien to replace Tom Croft in the Lions team to face Australia in the second test. However, Lydiate does do one thing better than any back-rower in Britain and Ireland, tackle. This is evidenced by his Tour de Force against France in last year's Six Nations.
After an injury-hit campaign in 2012/13, its easy to forget that Lydiate won the 2012 Six Nations Player of The Tournament in a Welsh team that won a Grand Slam and the chances of him being as anonymous as Croft was in the first test are slim.
