There's both good and bad news for Connacht fans this morning, with speculation intensifying that Robbie Henshaw will stay with the province until the end of his current deal in 2016. However, according to the Irish Independent, it is more than likely that this will be his last contract with Pat Lam's men.
Henshaw has been the subject of much speculation, with the majority of rumours suggesting that he would be lining out in the centre for Leinster at the start of next season. Yet, not only will he more than likely remain at Connacht next season, when/if he does move, it is Munster who have moved to the top of the queue.
Given the desire to ensure the Ireland centre remains in Ireland, the IRFU will have a large hand in Henshaw's next contract negotiations. However, with "Munster believed to be prepared to make him one of their best-paid players" it is looking more likely now that come the start of the 2016/17 season, Henshaw could be sporting the red of Munster.
