The Examiner are reporting that Paul O'Connell's Munster career will end in the next eight days and Saturday's game against Ospreys will be his final game for the club at Thomond Park.
O'Connell, they report, has been linked with both Toulon and Racing Metro. Either way, it looks likely that the next eight days are set to be the last of his Munster career.
The Irish Examiner are reporting that tomorrow's Pro 12 semi-final against Ospreys will be O'Connell's final game at Thomond Park in a Munster jersey. Depending on the result against the Welsh side that could of course turn out to be his final appearance in the red jersey.
O'Connell has been strongly linked with a move to France, and Toulon in particular. However, he has been steadfast in his desire to concentrate on the end of the season before announcing his decision. The cat seems like it may be out of the bag now, and tomorrow's game is sure to be a momentous one for the Munster faithful and the big man himself.
