We at Balls.ie don't like rugby league. We think it is played by unskilled oafish batteringrams. But these feelings are due to our exposure to Super League rugby, where you are likely to see 100 pints and pasties before you see an offload. The NRL is a different proposition. Offloading and sidestepping are skills that are used often and to great effect. Don't believe me? Take a look at these short highlights from yesterday's State of Origin game.

The offloading for the final try is absolutely sublime. As a general rule: when a Super League player is headhunted you generally get an Andy Farrell, when an NRL player is headhunted you generally get a Sonny Bill Williams. Maybe we should give the NRL a chance.
