We already knew one of them would be returning but now there's soon to be confirmation that the other one will be back as well. It has been rumoured for a number of weeks but now we know for sure. Barring any last minute hiccups, fan favourite Isa Nacewa will be returning to Leinster next year.
The versatile back retired from rugby in 2013 to move back home to New Zealand. However, Leinster have convinced the 32 year old to come out of retirement for at least the 2015/16 season with a one year contract set to be signed early next week according to the Irish Times.
With a number of players set to miss a large part of the season due to their involvement in the World Cup, Leinster have been on the look out for versatile, and available, replacements. Peter Stringer has also been linked with a move to Matt O'Connor's side but the one that really got Leinster fans excited was that of Nacewa.
Having retired at just the age of 30, Nacewa's departure undoubtedly affected Leinster with his ability to excel in a number of positions having been a real asset, particularly during international periods when players such as Rob Kearney and Luke Fitzgerald were on Ireland duty.
With his return now as good as confirmed, and provided he can return to his previous levels of fitness, it will surely be a boost to Matt O'Connor's chances of maintaining a competitive squad during a disrupted 2015/16 season.
