As anyone who reads the Irish sports pages will know (and despite the protests of their current rugby correspondent), the Irish Independent's rugby section has done an outstanding job promoting Munster rugby. The Munster adoration started with Farmer Farrelly (copyright Whiff of Cordite) and has reached great heights during Georgian times. Just in case anyone had any doubt, the folks at Independent House decided they'd like to get any ambiguity about their rugby objectivity out of the way and pay for the privilege of being 'the official newspaper of Munster rugby'.
Get ready for those Munster supplements, folks.
