Leinster were demolished 33-6 by Wasps in front of a dazed RDS crowd this afternoon. The phrase 'World Cup hangover' is the cliche of mass destruction this afternoon.
An ashen looking Leo Cullen was interviewed by Craig Doyle on BT Sport afterwards, in which he said he did fear Leinster would be a little disjointed this afternoon, but he didn't think they would be as bad as that. It will likely go down as the Leinster's worst ever result in the European Cup, at least since the earliest days of the competition.
Here's a flavour of the reaction to today's nightmarish result.
"It leaves us scrambling in the Pool." @Leinsterrugby head coach Leo Cullen. #LEINvWAS #ERCC https://t.co/tzN1U4TDoo

This is a shambles from Leinster.

This is several shades of diabolical. Error strewn and listless. After Kearney's slip to concede try not a player come over to him. Malaise? — Whiff of Cordite (@WhiffofCordite) November 15, 2015
@Murray_Kinsella It's actually hard to make specific criticisms isn't it? Every facet of the game - terrible. Very un-Leinster

Somewhere, now, online, a Leinster fan is writing about how this is Matt O'Connor's fault — Ronan Murphy (@Ro_Murph) November 15, 2015

Was Leinster's performance a fiendish plot to prove to the IRFU how much they need Robbie Henshaw?, a penny for his thoughts now #LEINvWAS — Barry McGonigle (@BarryMcGonigle_) November 15, 2015
Dear Twitter and #rugby heads. Please for the good of humanity stop saying Wasps Sting Leinster. It's overdone lazy and plain dull. — Catherine Kavanagh (@KavanaghCk) November 15, 2015
Gotta admire the pluck of PA announcer at RDS. "And a round of applause for Leinster." Followed by hard sell on tickets to Leinster v Toulon

Dear me Leinster. A bigger let down than the John Lewis ad. Long season for Leo... — Ciarán Ó Raghallaigh (@Ciaran_O) November 15, 2015
