2017 has been a good year for Cian Healy. In the face of a number of terrible injuries that nearly ended his career, Healy has been in serious form this year and pushed Jack McGrath hard for the Ireland #1 shirt in the Six Nations. Unexpectedly, for some, he's in with a shout of this summer's Lions tour.
Balls.ie spoke with Healy this week about a range of things, including the fearsome Ireland scrum that finished the Six Nations 31 for 31. Healy, McGrath and Tadhg Furlong will all be involved when Leinster play Wasps next week and Healy spoke of his fascinating bond with McGrath.
"We've created a brotherhood about what we're doing and how we work. Whoever goes out at the end of the week represents the other."
Healy also spoke about Furlong's evolution to one of Leinster's 'comics'.
"He grew into it. He came into the academy as a nice underspoken fella. He wasn't brash or out there. He's certainly grown into the position, he's one of the comics in the squad. He'd never talk himself up to being as good as he is. He's a very modest fella."
Healy was speaking to Balls.ie to promote Life Style Sports #FuelThe4th campaign. Life Style Sports are asking fans to tweet their support to a Leinster player of their choice to be entered to win a great prize: a VIP experience at next Saturday's Leinster vs Wasps game at the Aviva.

Wasps, of course, hammered Leinster in the RDS last year but Healy said that revenge wouldn't on his mind in that fixture.
"The strategy is in place to go at them. The less you can rely on emotion, the better."
Get tweeting today and you could be bringing your mates to the Aviva next weekend for an unforgettable afternoon.
