In today's Sunday Times, Stephen Jones names what he believes should be the Lions squad for this summer's tour of New Zealand.
Warren Gatland names the real thing at noon on Wednesday. In the meantime, there are some curious selections and non-selections from Jones to get worked up about.
'Size, power and harsh hearts' are the main qualities required for inclusion in the Welshman's squad.
It is comprised of 16 English players, 12 Welsh, eight Irish and just two Scots.
Strangely one of those Scots is not Stuart Hogg. That is despite being in the starting team for many this summer and having looked like the most potent attacking weapon of all in the Six Nations.
Johnny Sexton, due to the prioritisation of physicality, 'only just crept in'. Peter O'Mahony is included for being 'not remotely inclined to stand and applaud the hosts'.
Jones bemoans that the Lions will not have a dominant scrummaging tighthead, suggesting that Tadhg Furlong 'has to stop being wonderfully promising and start being test-dominating in the position'.
