With Irish eyes fixed on Connacht's remarkable first-half performance at Murrayfield, South Africa released their squad for their three-test tour against Ireland on home soil. High-profile absentees include Bismarck du Plessis, Johan Goosen, Morne Steyn and Ruan Pienaar.
There are a couple of uncapped players listed also, including Jaco Kriel and Ruan Combrinck of the Lions.

The first test will take place in Cape Town on June 11th, followed by tests in Johannesburg (June 18th) and Port Elizabeth (June 25th). It is against this squad Ireland will attempt to make history: we have never won a test match in South Africa.
