Bundee Aki was named Man of the Match as Connacht pulled an epic win from the fire against Wasps.
Recent signing Naulia Dawai went over for a late try which levelled the game at 18-18. Jack Carty then knocked over a tough conversion to give Connacht the win.
Last week Connacht lost to Wasps, one of the best teams in the Aviva Premiership this season, at the Ricoh Arena. A defeat this evening would have left their hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages hanging from a thread.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Aki's elation was clear - as was his appreciation for the opposition as he called them a 'fucking great team'.
There's a saying that went out last year - 'we're the team that refuses to die'. It's true. We refused to die. We deserved to be here.
Last week was a disappointing week for us. We certainly tried to rectify it. Wasps, big credit to them, they're a fucking great team. Excuse my language. Sorry mom.
Connacht are now joint top of Pool 2 along with Wasps.
