All Blacks centre Sonny Bill Williams won plenty of admirers following the Rugby World Cup final.
Williams presented his winner's medal to a young pitch-invading fan, named Charlie Lines, who had been 'smoked' by a security guard right in front of him.
The 14-year-old's family subsequently offered to return the medal, but Williams felt memories of the victory would be sufficient.
The gesture meant that Sonny Bill would have just the one World Cup winner's medal in his cabinet.
That was until World Rugby stepped up on Sunday evening and had Richie McCaw present the 30-year-old with a replacement at the World Rugby awards night.
