The highlights from today’s incredible Six Nations game between Italy and Wales just keep getting better with Josh Adams producing a heart-warming piece of sportsmanship following the conclusion of the match.
Adams had been justifiably awarded the man-of-the-match award while Wales were still ahead in the game, and looking like clear favourites to close out it out.
However, given Italy’s last minute win and the overall performance of the magnificent Ange Capuozzo, Adams felt it necessary to hand his medal to the Italian fullback.
It is unclear whether Capuozzo excepted the medal, but it was a special moment nonetheless between arguably the two best players on the field.
Six Nations: Josh Adams gives away medal

It was also a gesture of class from Capuozzo not to accept the medal.
Adams was good value for the award given his ridiculously good try-saving tackle on Monte Ioane, before finishing his own linebreak to score a try and allow Wales to go up 21-15.
Capuozzo was of course the man who made the break out of nothing which lead to Edoardo Padavani’s last minute try.
The Italian fullback collected a kick deep in his own half and ran it back magnificently, beating multiple defenders before cleverly handing it off to allow Padavani to score under the posts, giving Paolo Garbisi a straightforward conversion.
It wasn’t the only highlight from the fullback. Along with Monte Ioane he managed to keep the ball alive behind his own goal line which lead to a linebreak and an Italian penalty in the Welsh 22. Garbisi kicked the points to put Italy ahead 15-14.
This is class from Italy. Great breakout from Capuozzo and Ioane, Lamaro kicks on and loosehead prop Danilo Fischetti forces the penalty to give Italy the lead!#WALvITA pic.twitter.com/MoOHQqLTt6

The play was reminiscent of the much shared clip from the November Internationals when French outhalf Romain Nitamack also broke from behind his own goal line.
The Italian victory is their first in the Six Nations since 2015, and their first victory over a tier 1 nation since beating South Africa in 2016.
