Scotland flattered to deceive once again when it mattered most, as they failed to register a single second half point in their 22-7 Six Nations defeat to Ireland this afternoon.
They looked on top for much of the first half, and with Ireland's ever growing injury list it seemed as though they were firmly in the driving seat at half-time.
Ireland rallied, however, with Josh van der Flier on line out throwing duty and Cian Healy scrummaging at hooker, leaving Scotland in a familiar position of asking themselves 'how did we let that one slip away?'
After the match, head coach Gregor Townsend tried to take positives and spoke about the upcoming World Cup in September.
"We are close to working it out as we showed enough in attack and defence in the first half which can trouble Ireland. The World Cup is a bigger stage and there are more consequences but we have learned."
On RTE's punditry panel Simon Zebo mocked the head coach's words by sarcastically saying twice that "they're building", while looking towards his fellow pundit Jamie Heaslip with a cheeky grin.

"I'd rather talk about the first half than the second half, because the second half was disappointing", added Gregor Townsend after the match.
"We created chances in that first half - it was a real high energy performance. What you'd call a proper Test match.
"Both teams were a little fatigued at the start of the second half, it was there for us to lift the enrgy.
"We didn't, we weren't accurate enough. Ireland grew in confidence and were clearly the better team in the second half."
