Simon Zebo and Joey Barton had a light-hearted exchange on social media after Zebo channelled his "inner Joey Barton" with a two-footed tackle.
It's beautiful, really. An unlikely bond, formed over a mutual appreciation for a good, hard tackle.
Well, a pretty dirty tackle.
Simon Zebo was a try-scorer for Munster in their convincing 32-7 win away to Racing 92, after which 'Zeebs' raised some light-hearted stink that CJ Stander had won man-of-the-match for the 478th match in a row. Zebo has been absolutely immense for Munster this season, but he'd best stick to football if this video is anything to go by.
The Sky Sports cameras managed to pick up the exact moment when Zebo channelled what he called his "inner Joey Barton". To be fair to Joey, he's been on the end of a few shockers in his time as well.
He tweeted his tackle at Barton and the Burnley midfielder responded in good jest. Wouldn't mind seeing him play rugby, come to think of it. Might make a decent fly-half.

Good technique. Got to get ball or man big man. You got neither there! None shall pass. https://t.co/WjuzMkYDQS

every team needs a tricky winger who takes people on for fun. You'd be worth about £50m in football...😂😂
