Many top sportspeople will have video footage floating around somewhere of them as kids absolutely destroying the poor saps who had the misfortune to be blessed with average ability and occupy the same field as said future star. It could be Tadhg Furlong barging through other kids in underage GAA games or Philippe Coutinho swerving and jinking his way past mere mortals in futsal a few years ago; anyone who operates in professional sport has been that kid at some point or other.
And it seems like Siave Togoiu is one of those kids. Amplified by ten.
Stuff.co.nz are calling him "one of the hottest rugby prospects in New Zealand" - and therefore, by definition, the world - and the 17-year-old has already sealed a spot in the Blues' roster. There were no lack of agents calling at his door, particularly after footage emerged of his exploits at the World School Sevens tournament in Auckland in December (credit: LH_HIGHLIGHTS):

While Togoiu was playing for the Samoan team here, he has been chosen for underage New Zealand sides in rugby league and has represented the New Zealand schools side in rugby league. All Blacks fans will doubtless have one eye on his progress, too, should Togoiu follow in the footsteps of the likes of Samoan-born Jerry Collins and Jerome Kaino in deciding to represent New Zealand.
If the footage above is anything to go by, this isn't the last time we'll hear the name of Siave Togoiu.
