Scotland have named a 32 man squad for this year's Six Nations Championship. There are 4 uncapped players in the squad - Hamish Watson, Sam Hidalgo-Clyne, Ben Toolis and Hugh Blake. 22 year old Hugh Blake is included despite never having played for Edinburgh as a pro, after arriving from Super Rugby side Highlanders last month.
There's no room for former captain Kelly Brown who has been in great form for Saracens, or fellow backrowers John Barclay or Johnnie Beattie. Brown, Barclay and Beattie formed Scotland's 'Killer B' backrow several years ago and are now all cast aside by coach Vern Cotter.
Lion Ryan Grant and Chris Cusiter are also not included in the squad along with Scott Lawson.
