In the build up to the first Lions test, one of the biggest talking points is Sam Warburton's potential inclusion. Will Warburton's status as captain make Gatland pick him even if Tipuric or O'Brien are playing better. Will he shunt captain Sam to 6 in the place of Lydiate or Croft just to justify his captain's pick? Brian Moore wrote an article on the subject today and he had a very interesting exchange with an interested party: Sam Warburton's dad.

You get the impression from Warburton's dad that they may have discussed his form and his possible selection due to being the captain. That may make Gatland's job easier if he has to drop him. Of course what would make it even easier is if Warburton starts playing better.
