Ireland U20s outhalf Sam Prendergast has been given the ultimate seal of approval, after his scintillating assist highlight vs Wales made its way to All Black legend Sonny Bill Williams.
Williams is arguably the GOAT in terms of rugby offloading ability, and took to twitter to write "Sam Prendergast Remember that name me friends" with a clip of Prendergast's out-the-back-door pass to James Nicholson on Friday night.
It is true that it is best to calm expectations for young and up and coming players, but getting on a hype train is just too fun and enjoyable at times.

Prendergast, whose brother Cian is with the senior squad, spoke to media last week and explained that he had been getting some rugby advice from his older bro.
"He’s given me a few little hints about it, that it’s a big step up in what you’re used to at this age and you’re not really prepared for the intensity. But he really enjoyed it and it was one of the most exciting times, so there’s a lot to look forward to.
"Really beneficial, especially having played against teams like France and South Africa, very power based teams," he said about his experience gained from touring with the Ireland U20s last summer.
"It’s kind of good to see what they’ll be like this year, but also playing away, all the games were away from home so it’s in kind of an uncomfortable setting. That kind of experience will put you in good shape going into this week, being away from home on kind of an uncomfortable weird pitch, weird setting so it’s very beneficial."
