Robbie Henshaw kept his meteoric rise on track with another good performance yesterday during Ireland's relatively comfortably win over Italy. Those of us who are skeptical that Ireland are going to be lucky enough to seamlessly move from Brian O'Driscoll to another force of nature at centre may be starting to believe.
One man who thinks the sky is the limit for Henshaw is former Irish international Alan Quinlan. Quinlan was speaking to Newstalk yesterday and left no doubt as to just how highly he rates Henshaw:
Henshaw can step up and show that brilliance that he's shown already, he's potentially as good as Brian O'Driscoll, he says all the right things and his application is excellent.
O'Driscoll himself was more than happy with Henshaw yesterday:
Contrary to some belief I thought the centres went really well today. Henshaw is the real deal.

One figures that Wesley Fofana and Mathieu Bastareaud will offer a sterner examination than the Italians did yesterday but still, it looks like the Six Nations world post BOD won't be so bad.
Especially when you consider that his actual positional replacement Jared Payne is motoring along nicely in the shadows of what is developing into a country wide crush on the boy Henshaw.
