Ryle Nugent, RTE's Rugby-mad and now erstwhile Head of Sport, presided over only misery against the All Blacks when he had the state broadcaster's microphone. Most notably, Nugent was the man who had to find a suitably dismayed tone for the words 'Ryan' and 'Crotty' back in 2013.
Heck, while Nugent was still with RTE when he beat the All Blacks in Chicago, that game was randomly on eir Sport 2, and Nugent ended up commentating on the fraught, 21-9 vengeance the All Blacks served a fortnight later.
Now exiled on Channel 4, Nugent has finally had the chance to declare an Irish win over the All Blacks. Here's how he did it.

We wager there was a bit of frustration released in the "they've cracked.....they've finally cracked".
