A typical example of a picture and that's worth a thousand words, here is South Sydney Rabbitohs' owner and kind of famous actor, Russell Crowe embracing man of the match Sam Burgess after the NRL Grand Final on Saturday.
Burgess – who was playing his last game for the Rabbitohs before going home to England to take up rugby union with Bath – suffered a fractured cheekbone in the first minute of the match but went on to produce a warrior-like display to help his side secure a trophy for the first time in 43 years.
Speaking about Burgess after the game, Crowe said:
The guy who can be as hard as he needs to be on the field and as gracious as he can be off the field.
He has carved his name deep into the history of rugby.
And in case you missed it, the Englishman also gave one hell of a half time interview, responding to an inquiry about his cheekbone with a blunt 'It#s fucked. It's gone.'
